Hello Everyone,
While we had hoped that it wouldn’t be necessary to activate our H.E.R.T. (Hurricane Emergency Response Team) Responders at all this year, given the activity we have experienced the last couple of years, with Tropical Storm Gordon formed in the Gulf of Mexico and the possibility it could continue to intensify to a Category 1 Hurricane we have taken the necessary steps to activate our responders. We are organized and stand ready to respond to any needs that may arise as a result of Gordon. Below is the latest tracking information:
As you can see the track takes it into the Alabama/Mississippi state line and it is anticipated that the majority of the rain and wind will be located in the east and northeast portion of the storm. While we don’t anticipate significant wind damage as a result of the storm there may be an elevated level of tornado activity as a result of the storm that could cause issues as well as a significant amount of rain that could cause localized flooding.
Please remember that we stand ready to assist you in the event you receive damage from the storm. Please contact our office in order to have a responder on property as quickly as possible. Stay safe!
